Park BJ, Melfi F, Mussi A, et al. Robotic lobectomy for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC): longterm oncologic results. J Thorac Cardiovasc Surg. 2012;143(2):383-389. A large series of patients with early-stage, non–small-cell lung cancer undergoing robotic-assisted lobectomy (RAL) was reviewed to assess long-term oncological efficacy. The authors determined that RAL is associated with low rates of morbidity and mortality as well as acceptable long-term, stage-specific survival rates.
